EmPATHETICally Blind (A skinny love story)
Emilee can read emotions like books. Matt can't read at all because he's blind as fuck. Both riddled with self-hatred, anger and frustration, they somehow manage to become best friends, even though their personalities clash worse than plaid and polka-dots. (Both of which, coincidentally, Emilee loves to wear on occasion) Spontaneousness may just be what keeps them in trouble, and together. Emilee finds out how much she depends on Matt, and Matt always sort of knew he liked her. The only problem is who's going to tell who first? Additionally, it features a short story titled, "An Unwritten Oath," where fate brings Murtasim Khan, a powerful yet injured feudal lord, to cross paths with Dr. Meerab Ahmed, a fiercely confident and unapologetic physician. When they meet under the glaring lights of a hospital, it's not just their egos that clash; it's their very principles. Yet, amidst the tension and heated exchanges, Murtasim finds himself inexplicably drawn to Meerab's fiery spirit - a force he's never encountered before, and one he can neither ignore nor forget.
