Monika Rae is just one of the twelve survivors of the zombie apocalypse that began in the year 2016... Callie is the thirteenth survivor that she happens to save one night when she thought she would have to fight through this war with the zombies alone. Of course, she knows she has the other fellow survivors, but she wanted that one person that she could love through it; someone to make her feel whole again after the horrible way her parents were ripped out of her life.
Adding to the madness, she's found herself fleeing her old camp, and settles into the security of another, with Rick Grimes as their leader, and Daryl Dixon as the jerk who can't accept hers and Callie's presence. Little does anyone know the important role Daryl will play in Monika's life.
