Veel jongens en meisjes leiden een normaal leven. Bij Oliver is dit anders. Zijn drang om een meisje te zijn is groot. Maar in de omstandigheden waarin hij leeft is dat niet mogelijk.
Olivers ouders zijn zwaar christelijk en accepteren de LHBTQ+ gemeenschap niet. En om die reden zullen ze Oliver waarschijnlijk ook niet accepteren. Dit belemmert Oliver erin om zichzelf te zijn.
Als Oliver een nieuw meisje op school krijgt, Novaeya, vertelt hij voor het eerst zijn allergrootste geheim. Dit meisje helpt hem om door alles heen te komen, maar is dat genoeg?
Oliver is diep ongelukkig en schrijft zijn gevoelens dus van zich af in een brief, maar die brief wordt ontdekt door zijn ouders.
