When the Aliens, the Covenant, invaded, it seemed as if Mankind had no hope. Then the Spartans came to the rescue. These genetically modified super soldiers, originally meant to quell insurrectionist activity, now held the fate of their race in their hands. Many died for the cause, and many victories were won because of their intervention. Through all the dirt and blood, one rose above them all, Master Chief, or John 117. Despite the process being banned after Spartan IIs, humanity is desperate, and so he's kidnapped, trained, and augmented the same as the original Spartan IIs by Dr. Catherine Halsey. The pressure is now on to replicate the Master Chief through him, and the road of Hero will not be easy. Secrets are kept from him, trust is broken, and hidden enemies threaten his life and those around him. However, Steele was chosen for a reason, and those who threaten the innocent better watch out. In order to keep his life, he must do the biddings of the Holy Hierarchs, the Prophets of Truth, Mercy, and Regret. Luckily, his closest ally, Zayda 'Zazumee was going to remain by his side. . . The OCs Aris, Athena, and Zayda belong to me. Halo belongs to "Bungie" and "343 Industries."

Surrounded by adults she can't trust , and harboring a secret so ludicrous that no one would believe it, Cheza begins running down a road with more twists and turns than her young body can hardly keep up with. The end is too far away, but at the end somewhere waits Master Chief.

The war with the covenant has driven humanity to the brink of extinction, the outer colony's have been glassed and the UNSC navy has been reduced to a fraction of what it once was. But there was hope, with the discovery of a forerunner relic that could turn ships into men with the full power of the ships themselves. This lead to the creation of several ships, one of them being the UNSC S/N. A Paris class heavy frigate, he along with the battle group he was apart of were out fighting the covenant who had also found a similar artifact, had been using sanghili ships to fight the UNSC. During one of these conflicts S/N was forced to make a jump with a damaged Slipspace drive, the result was that him and one of the covenants corvettes were pulled into a portal.
