In this war, many people have their reasons to fight. As for the Master Chief, other than to save humanity and protect Cortana, has another reason to keep fighting...and that reason has a name. Tess. Much like John, a.k.a Master Chief, Tess is a Spartan. But unlike Chief, Tess has became, known to the UNSC higher ranked, deceased and has been erased from the files..and only a select few know of their relationship. Though not having seen each other for nearly four years, Tess and John have become romantically involved and have to hid it..otherwise..their love, and their life, could be at stake.

Spartan 118 (Halo Based)
When the Aliens, the Covenant, invaded, it seemed as if Mankind had no hope. Then the Spartans came to the rescue. However, after defeating the zombie-like Flood that threatened humanity and aliens alike, he disappeared without a trace. With hope at an all time low, and alien threats still on the horizon, something had to be done. This is the purpose of Steele, Spartan 118. Despite the process being banned after Spartan IIs, humanity is desperate, and so he's kidnapped, trained, and augmented the same as the original Spartan IIs by Dr. Catherine Halsey. The pressure is now on to replicate the Master Chief through him, and the road of Hero will not be easy. The war with the covenant has driven humanity to the brink of extinction, the outer colony's have been glassed and the UNSC navy has been reduced to a fraction of what it once was. But there was hope, with the discovery of a forerunner relic that could turn ships into men with the full power of the ships themselves. This lead to the creation of several ships, one of them being the UNSC S/N. A Paris class heavy frigate, he along with the battle group he was apart of were out fighting the covenant who had also found a similar artifact, had been using sanghili ships to fight the UNSC. During one of these conflicts S/N was forced to make a jump with a damaged Slipspace drive, the result was that him and one of the covenants corvettes were pulled into a portal.
