"M-Merci." She said. Her chocolate eyes looking at the floor.

"Huh? What did you say?" I ask, confused.

"Merci." She repeats.

"Are you the transfer student?" I ask. She cocks her head to the side, not understanding me. "Are you." I point to her. "New here?" I gesture to the school. She seems to understand and nod her head.

"Oui." She says.

"I'll." I point to myself. "Show you." I point to my eyes and then her. "Around." I gesture to the school once more.

"Bien." She says. And with that, we leave.

Lucy Heartfilia is a French transfer student who doesn't know a word of English. She's often made fun of for this. But when Natsu Dragneel steps in a defends her, things will change for her.

Will Lucy be able to learn English? Will Natsu ever be able to understand her? Will they find love? After all, French is the language of love *wink wink*
