After Hands of Time, Lloyd starts thinking about Morro, him telling them that they forgot about their teammate Cole, back in Day of the Departed. Lloyd should have thanked Morro, but he didn't. Lloyd saw all of Morro's memories, when he got abused and bullied, when his dreams of becoming the Green Ninja were completely shattered. Lloyd went to the Monastery one day, he found under a bunch of rocks, a red and gold kite, Lloyd immediately recognized that this was Morro's kite. Lloyd takes it home, not knowing that it has a connection with someone he feels sorry for.
*This story is a side story, after Hands of Time and before Sons of Garmadon (Season 8) duh!*

The Smith siblings, Kai and Nya, together with their little foster brother, Lloyd, try to survive their difficult life with their abusive foster parent. They live far from everything, have little to no personal possessions, and lead difficult lives as their guardian's source of income. All they have is each other. One day, just as things start to become unbearable in the siblings' lives, an old sensei comes to meet the three siblings and makes them an all too intriguing offer. He gives them the chance to a new life. How will the siblings cope with the drastic transition from being neglected in an abusive household to living in a peaceful monastery amongst kind and caring people? How will their broken mindsets and crippling fears affect them and their parts in a prophecy? How will two boys both dressed in green find peace after a war lights up between them? ------------- This story is only meant to be a bit of fun for me and my readers, so it won't be as well-written as my other books. It's been almost a year since Nya left the team and merged with the sea. Ever since then Kai and Jay have not been the same. None of the ninjas have. But most of the others had learned to move past it. While Kai and Jay still have their moments of Grieving. Wu was worried about them. She could tell that they still were affected by her "death". Though she was still physically alive, the Nya they knew was no longer there; the Nya they loved was dead. But Wu's worries only grew when he left one day to go do his smoke visions in a more quiet and peaceful place. The other ninja had left to go do some work in Ninjago city while Kai and Jay stayed behind. The two boys recently have been near each other often. They seemed to be discussing something but none of the others would know what. As one of the others comes over they keep their mouths shut. Wu sat by the fire and meditated. How he would love to be able to see what has been going on in the two students' heads, but there was no possible way of doing so. He hummed as his smoke visions started to appear. Everyone was as happy as could be as expected but then the visions slowly started to darken... He awoke again with a small burst of panic but quickly calmed down, he knew to keep them safe. He had to prevent them from whatever they might be trying to do... Little did he know... he was already too late. What did Wu see? What is Jay and kai planning? And who may They be?Complete
