Misaki is a young firebender, married to the notorious General Zhao. She has been sheltered all her life, forbidden by her mother to use her bending. Her husband was hand-picked so her family could be sure she was with someone who would take care of her. Things were wonderful at first - but turned sour quickly. Trapped on her husband's ship, she suffers horribly. She spends her days longing for the past, for a time when things were okay. 
    
    Just when she loses hope, she is rescued from the hands of Zhao - by her long-time childhood crush, the banished Prince Zuko, who is trying to capture the Avatar and regain his honor. Will she and Zuko actually end up together after all this time?
