This disease slowly killed the gem off if they were to ever fall in love, since love was deemed as a distraction. Unless it was mutual, they would certainly shatter over time. As time went on, Peridot fell in love with Lapis. Lapis and Peridot
THIS STORY IS COMPLETED. (yayahhh) Okay, so I'm just... trying to write a fanfiction, okay? About Lapis Lazuli and Peridot and Jasper and... eh... what happened on that big hand-ship before the Crystal Gems crashed it. (This story ends near the end of the episode Jail Break) I'm keeping this child-friendly. None of what I consider cursing is in this book. And it's just friendship. And forgiveness. It might be a bit of a sad story, maybe... but anyway, it's not romantic love-stuff. And there might be a little violence because – y'know – Jasper's in the book. But not too bad. I try to keep the characters, well, in character, but I probably didn't succeed. Includes some of my own theories about Yellow Diamond and Homeworld; not everything in this story is canon. The cover art is by me. The pictures on the separate chapters are screenshots/gifs from the show itself. All characters in this book so far belong to Steven Universe, the TV show.
