Not Your Usual Alpha

Elena is the daughter of the Gamma of the Pale Scar pack. Since the Gamma is in charge of the training of the pack Elena has been trained by her father since she could stand. She's now one of the best fighters in the pack. Though, Elena is more of a bookworm and has always been curious about her pack's mysterious neighbor pack, Crystal Moon. The only thing anyone will tell her is that they used to be a proud and prominent pack, but one day a terrible tragedy struck, decimating their numbers and leaving them very vulnerable. Now they had gone from being a well-respected pack to one people only spoke about with pity, and sorrow. The only sign that the pack still existed being the letters the Alpha got every once in a while, and the flash of fur from one of their scouts.

She knew a few had gone to try to gain power or territory within the borders of the Crystal Moon pack, but they always came back in boxes, if they came back at all. Still, power hungry wolves continued to try their luck with the mysterious Crystal Moon. Adventurous wolves would go in, simply to see if they could catch a glimpse of the alpha that ran such a pack. The fact that they could hold their own when so many of them had been slaughtered was a feet not many could claim.

Then the most mysterious thing of all happens. After two decades of silence, the Crystal Moon asked to come meet with the Alpha of Elena's pack. The Alpha, Beta, and a few members of their pack would be arriving in a couple days to try and rebuild the allyship that had eroded over years of disuse. To top it all of Elena's wolf was growing more and more restless as their arrival approached. Could Elena's Mate be coming with the group from Crystal Moon? And will they be able to save Elena from the dangers lurking, waiting for a chance to strike?
