Currently, the story is in it's second arc, "Vision". Ten years have passed since the Mongols began invading, and with their power over the Han people growing stronger, many are left without positivity and have been instead driven by fear. Fa Chang, now alone with her aunt after the taking of her mother and the destruction of the survivor camp they were at years prior, has fallen victim to this new fear driven way of life. Despite this, there appears to be something preventing Fa Chang from falling even further into despair, and this new feeling could either be the catalyst for survival or the total collapse of who she is as a person.
