He doesn't remember who he is. He only remembers darkness. When he woke up, they tell him he was in an accident. They are going to help him heal, but only time can heal his mind. In the meantime, they're giving him a new name, a new history, and a new assignment. He may not know anything about his past, but he does know one thing about his future. If he doesn't become their secret weapon, he won't have any hope of a future outside of the NGEM Compound.
