I had this idea for a while but it was so interesting not knowing what the other person would write instead of writing both sides for myself. In 2018 Harry and Louis have a hard time making things work between them. They fight nonstop and Harry drags them to a couples therapist in one last, desperate effort to save their relationship. Since he's going to the States for a month their new therapist suggests that they will write letters to each other, one each day. Will writing save their relationship? The day of everyone's lives where they're supposed to have had their tattoo already. Now, 5 years after the disappointment of not receiving one, Louis has completely given up on ever finding someone. He's given up on ever getting a tattoo, on ever finding a soul mate, and on ever being loved. Until he meets Kealleigh a month after her 18th birthday. (This is a short story. Please do not directly steal my ideas, like the tattoos for example because I made them up entirely on my own. This short story is a complete work of fiction inspired by some other soulmate stories that I've read over time.
