Mr. Bold and Mrs. Bolder

Bold and Bolder met at a club. It wasn't just any club though. It was Bold's club. The center of his Mafia. He ran into Bolder when she was ditching her friends who were out to look for some easy hookups. That wasn't really Bolder's thing. Her thing is more to study and finish college with good grades so she can go into her career of writing picture books for kids. Her friends dragged her out of the dorms to have fun. Bolder ditched the second her friends were distracted.

Me being my clumsy short self ran right into Mr. Bold.

"Sorry." I said as I tried to pass, but someone grabbed my arm.

"You should be more careful next time." he said coldly.

That's when I finally got to look at the person I ran into. Immediately heart skipped a beat. Christopher Bold. Oh crap. Even though I may be short and clumsy, no one talks to me that way. Even if he is a mafia boss.

"Excuse you? That was highly rude and not something one says to a lady."

"Lady? You look a little young and short to be considered a lady." He laughed.

"I assure you Mr. Bold that we are not very different in age." From what I heard he's 24 and I'm 23.

"So you know of me, yet you still choose to talk to me that way. Are you not afraid of me?"

"No."

"Why not?"

"Seriously? I have worse nightmares about failing AP Chemistry." I rolled my eyes.
