An tranquility of peace that has lasted centuries for the people here on Mythos... but on one fateful day this profound peace suddenly took a tragic turn for the worse.

A catastrophic event known as The Great Demonic Descent has thrown the entire world into choas. This catastrophe caused the skies throughout the entire world to turn bloodstain-red followed by enormous shadowy-filled voids that rippled all through the skies.

Afterwards, choas struck the lands. Earthquakes struck, massive volcanoes erupted, scorching everything in its wake. Followed by huge tidal waves that wracked havoc on many towns and villages, taking countless of innocent lives in the process. But not long after the destruction, soon came pouring out of these darkened voids were swarms of malicious blood seeking demons. Demons known as the Ryuma. The Ryuma then began attacking, killing and devouring everything in thier wake.

Not long news of the horrors spreaded far and wide reaching every corner of the indigenous populations... it wasn't long until war broke out between the wondrous people of Mythos and the malicious Ryuma from above.
