Jeremy Heere never had feelings for his best friend, or so he thought. With his player2 gone he could only cough up red rose petals and have them bloom all over his body, surgery was an option but of course he wouldn't want it I mean who would want all emotion gone? So here he is, stuck with Hanahaki disease no matter what. Hanahaki disease: an illness born from a one-sided love. The infected person coughs up flower petals, flowers, and blood; once flowers have infected your insides they will continue to grow on the outside of your body as well. The two ways to get rid of the disease is to get surgery, which can lead to loss of all emotion, or having the feelings of love returned. If surgery is refused or feelings are not returned the infected person can eventually die from build up of flowers in the throat and lungs.

|Jelsa, Modern AU| unrequited adjective un·re·quit·ed ˌən-ri-ˈkwī-təd : not requited : not reciprocated or returned in kind unrequited love "Elsa has been pining with unrequited love" OR The term hanahaki comes from the Japanese words hana (花), which means "flower", and hakimasu (吐きます), which means "to throw up". Hanahaki Disease (花吐き病 (Japanese); 하나하키병 (Korean); 花吐病 (Chinese)) is a disease in which the victim coughs up flower petals when they suffer from one-sided love. It ends when the beloved returns their feelings (romantic love only; strong friendship is not enough), or when the victim dies. It can be cured through surgical removal, but when the infection is removed, the victim's romantic feelings also disappear.
