Several months past the events of the first series "Percy Jackson & The Olympians", and the "Kane Chronicles", Brian Mun is an ordinary thirteen year old, attending middle school like any other student his age.
One day, Brian and his best friends Claire and Hedge meet three large hell-hounds in the cafeteria - with nothing but the absolute desire to chase the trio like dogs running after a bone. This turns Brian and his friends' lives over, as they discover the true nature of how they came to exist.
