To be favorited by Aphrodite is a blessing and a curse. The immense love you feel for everyone you meet, the compassion, and the trusting nature are all things that are great; but with great love comes the price of even greater heartbreak. And it doesn't help that you seem to fall in love with everyone.
Ava Holden knows these things too well; she has had her heart broken countless times. Just when it seems like she should just give up relationships altogether, she meets her soulmate. You would think that they would just click, get married, and live happily ever after, but Ava's heart seems broken beyond repair. Hades got me out of Algebra, which is a big deal. It does my head in. But, he kidnapped me and took me to the Underworld all because Persephone has faded away. And he's making me love him. After meeting gods and goddesses, finding my parents were dead then not dead, and Aphrodite, the goddess of love casting a spell over me, it turns out he's making me love him. Many forget that the goddess of love was born from the raging sea, but she would do anything to protect her daughter. Adora was Aphrodite's last daughter. Her mother kept her hidden. But, her mother isn't the only one who can keep a secret, especially in a world where your role in society is everything.
