To be favorited by Aphrodite is a blessing and a curse. The immense love you feel for everyone you meet, the compassion, and the trusting nature are all things that are great; but with great love comes the price of even greater heartbreak. And it doesn't help that you seem to fall in love with everyone.

Ava Holden knows these things too well; she has had her heart broken countless times. Just when it seems like she should just give up relationships altogether, she meets her soulmate. You would think that they would just click, get married, and live happily ever after, but Ava's heart seems broken beyond repair. She struggles to trust, and allow herself to love her soulmate, even when Aphrodite made it clear to her that he was the one.

Will Ava trust her Goddess and let William into her heart? Or will she cave to her inner demons, and live the rest of her life alone and in despair?

In an attempt to protect her heart, newly single, Ember has sworn off love. Intrigued, the goddess Aphrodite decides to change the girl's mind. But when Ember's stubborn nature proves difficult, Aphrodite's intentions turn dark. •---•---• Ember Michaelson, hopeless romantic and sophomore in college has waited her entire life to find 'the one'. But when he breaks her heart she's left questioning everything she believes in and declares a ban on love. Ember could never have foreseen that her small proclamation, or as others might call it: crazed public shouting, would carry to Mount Olympus. But it has, and now she's piqued the interest of someone who is not going to let her plans come to fruition. The goddess Aphrodite loves a challenge almost as much as she loves gifts, and today is her birthday. Having stayed out of human affairs for centuries, she can't help but feel the allure of divine intervention when Ember's words find her ears. Aphrodite is determined to change Ember's mind, even if that means playing dirty.
