Life was never a normal one for 19 year old, Ailith Delaney. Her parents died when she was just 4. She lives with her overprotective aunt who moves from one city to another and takes Ailith with her, wherever she goes.

All her life she stayed away from the dark, as she was told that darkness is evil and that it symbolises cruelty and death, until one day she finally decided to face it.

What will happen when Ailith will start feeling peace in darkness, when she will admire and love the thing she was kept way from, since her birth? What will happen when she realize that the life she was living was just an illusion? And that the King of death wants her?
