Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy never got along. Never.

The Boy Who Lived has decided to come back to Hogwarts for his seventh (and final) year in Hogwarts with his great friends, Ronald Weasley and Hermione Granger. After the war, he could hardly leave his dorm without his fellow Hogwarts students bombarding him on how brave he is or how thankful they are. The attention is overwhelmingly positive and honestly, he's tired of it. 

The Slytherin Prince went back to Hogwarts to formally redo his last seventh year for reasons. One, Hogwarts wasn't the same during the war. Two, his parents busied him into becoming a "loyal" Death Eater to Lord Voldemort, therefore his grades weren't desirable. Three, he rather not be around his awkwardly quiet household while his mother is currently moping around about his father's imprisonment. 

Professor Horace Slughorn is done with how his students have been behaving. The tension, the unabashed prejudice and pride of both Slytherin and Gryffindor must come to an end. And what better way to start than in Hogwarts itself?

Professor Slughorn decides to pair his students in opposite houses for both assignments and the rest of the year, decidedly throwing in a lengthy potions project on all different potions. Ronald Weasely with Blaise Zabini. Hermione Granger with Theodore Nott. And of course, Harry Potter with Draco Malfoy.All Rights Reserved
