This is the story of four girls withe powers over lava, scolding water, metal and ice. They save worlds and dimensions unlike their own from the evil, Prince Ecstris who had created a gigantic dimensional portal that could take you anywhere, and its the Protector's job to take them both down. Though I'm sure that in stories like this the magic comes from myth and legend, and had started with these all powerful beings, but this started with the girl's mothers. So this is happening now!
