Yokohoro City, is one of the most beautiful places in the world to those who lived there. You could relate the city to New York, but, it was much smaller in size, and wouldn't  do the city justice. Built beside the Yokohoro Mountains, from which it gets it's name, the scenery was one that anyone would admire. 
 
Sanika Villar, an Island Girl from Pera, has had two tragic incidents happen to her, that has changed her view of life. Nyoki Kumuru is a handsome, cold-hearted, young man who has given up on real affection, and does not believe there is a such a thing as real love. Nevertheless, when these two cross paths, their worlds collide and their lives change forever. As they learn to love and to forgive, will this be the beginning of something real?

This is the first rough draft version of my manuscript, no edits have been made and I welcome all feedback. 

Thorns of the Heart is a book I am writing for my niece who loves to read but loves anime a whole lot more. She asked if I would write her a novel with anime aspects and I told her yes.
