Spare Me Change

Back home. This was the place she had always pictured as her safe haven. For some reason her ignorant young mind had believed that once she moved back to Porterville everything would be fine again. Normal.
.... Oh how wrong she was.

For her emotional reasons I will skip through the worst and just give you the short version of what happened.
The first few weeks were fine. she went back to her old private school with her friends, but those friends were different now. She was different too, and they weren't really friends anymore.
Then it was decided her grandparents (they were her guardians) would only allow her to see her friends at school, no hanging out with them, or anyone else without their approval. With reluctance, she accepted the terms.
The worst, the fall, was yet to occur. Her grandmother, and i say this for lack of better terms, accused her of having sexual relations with her grandfather. The same father figure she had come to know, she was now being accused of having sexual relations with. Anyone else might have denied it throwing a fit, shouting curses of disgust. She however, was very sheltered and so, she was simply stunned. Of course though she did deny it.
For telling the truth and further seeking help from another adult it's easy to assume everything turned out fine. The consequences of doing so however, were anything but good.

...well there you are. I would like to write more, but I prefer to leave some mystery to this story and seeing as I have already said quite a bit I will just stop here.
