Vera hasn't had what most people would call an easy life in fact she has the opposite. Her mom is a drug addict who thinks she's depressed never home and blames her "depression" on Vera. Her father left when she was eight and said it was because Vera was a mistake and he wasn't ready to raise a child. Her mother can't pay the bills so Vera was forced to start street fighting illegally. Vera's boyfriend is abusive to her. She has titanium walls.
