Oliver Simmons was Mick Taylor's punching bag when they were younger. For the past four years, Mick has been living in New York with his boyfriend, Brad. But after another horrific fight and long court trial, and just barely getting himself out of a year in prison, Mick is returning back home to Sacramento, California under the watchful eye of his parents. He arrives just in time for the annual summer stay at their beach house. The Taylor's sharing the beach house with family friends, the Simmons. After Oliver hears the horrible news about Mick's return, he refuses to let Mick push him around like always. Oliver's new attitude toward Mick has everyone in the house on edge as Mick struggles not to punch the kid in the face. Emotions resurface and new discoveries are made this summer.
