She cried, burying her tear streaked face in her hands. She left Ghe'tal when he needed her most. Even though he didn't say so. "I don't deserve this life, but I won't waste it. I will continue to do what Ghe'tal willed me to do. I will find them, I will find the lost ones, for they are like me. Immortal."

My Shattered Bliss
"Why?" My ears were still ringing from the powerful slam against the wall as my door was slammed open. "I'm sure your mom already told you." My voice was low, the words barely wanting to escape my lips. The weight of the blanket kept me warm and stuck in the middle of the bed. My heart picked up a few extra beats as his thundering steps came to stand in front of me. "So at every little sigh of bad news, you're going to give up?" I felt harsh hands grip my chin and force my head up. I had a sudden lump in my throat when I saw the anger in his large eyes. "You're pathetic." Pathetic. His eyes seemed to glow as if the flood gates finally released and he let the truth out. "I bet you wished I never found you!" He laughed in vain, "Well, it would've been easier for everyone if you'd died before I got there." His words echoed on and on inside my head. The grip on my chin loosened when he saw the tears form in my eyes. If I was stupid, I would've maybe considered that he regretted it. But he never took it back. Because it's true. I swallowed the shame and my nose flared as I hid the tears into anger. "I'm sorry not all of this ended in happy rainbows and roses for you," I gathered all of my strength and shoved him away from me before forcibly marching and opening my bedroom door. "Wait, Lily-" "Go! No one is stopping you. Go take the internship and live your life however you want. Don't let me hold you back anymore." I sniffed hard and gripped the doorframe for support. I saw him clench his fists before he flew down the stairs. "If you wish a little harder, maybe you can get your wish sooner than five years!" _______________ Lilith Morana, known for her reckless and chaotic behavior, is unwillingly thrown back in the traumatizing world of the supernatural. Lilith walked the Earth for the first time in a thousand years. Her long black hair draped thickly over her shoulders. Dark eyes and full lips set off a face unmarred and perfect. Millions of years have passed since Lilith had left Eden in a desperate flight for freedom. However, her freedom didn't come without a price. God, full of thunder and brimstone, had cursed her for disobeying him so that all her offspring were tainted spirits with darkness in place of souls. They were called demons by most. A name she hated. It's a curse she learned to live with. Though they are creatures of the dark, she loved her children all the same. Still, she yearned for a child equal to herself, perhaps even more than she was. There was a way. God himself had given her the idea, although that was not his intent. He had forbidden Prince Mastema, one of the strongest spirits, from taking her as his wife. She wasn't surprised that the Prince wanted her. Lilith was the original woman, undiminished by the limitations placed on Adam and his mortal descendants. Mastema had taken other wives and the command was weaker on his descendants. With each generation the barrier was weaker. Now it was weak enough for her to overcome, at least for a short time. One night was all she needed, and she had found one of his descendants that sill had the power of the Nephilim in his blood, although most of it lay dormant. Lilith's heart beat with excitement and hope as she walked through the door and into the party celebrating the recent victory of Mr. Tony Mastim. She could feel the power deep inside him.
