"What happened?" he asked sternly. She sat still and made sure her hood was covering her bruised cheek. He noticed her unease like no one else. "Nothing." She answered. He mentally noted the scratchy sound in her voice. He carefully walked towards her while shaking his head. "Who is hurting you?"
