In this parallel universe, all the tomb vampires burned in 1864, Damon and Stefan never returned to Mystic Falls, and Elena leads a vampire-free life.

Until Klaus's obsession with breaking the curse brings the Originals into town, and the oldest Mikaelson catches the eye of the youngest Gilbert.

This is an AU where Henrik and the unnamed Mikaelson survived and were made into Originals alongside the rest of their siblings. This takes place around the end of Season 2 into Season 3 of The Vampire Diaries, meaning Freya's reveal is obsolete. I am taking the idea of the firstborn Mikaelson into my own hands and putting my own spin on it.
