Clarissa Jenkins is an 18-year old high school dropout, but she isn't just a dropout. She's a spy recruited to work for the Ethereal Code Agency (EC). The Agency saw her skills and she was professionally trained and became the #1 field agent at the Agency. She was assigned an undercover spy mission in London, England, tasked with stealing an old artifact that was essential to the Agency's future plans.

It's the future and she's the Agency's first experiment with time travel and sending her all the way back to 1890 Victorian London.

Thrown into an unknown world, and being African American, the job would not be easy. She meets a striking British boy from the past who could potentially be more than a friend when he helps her, oblivious to her intentions. Will she ever trust him enough to tell him what she's really here for? Will she ever get back to the future? Will she WANT to? Clarissa questions not only her heart, but the Agency's true intentions as well...

In New York City, elite teens are going missing. The police and FBI have run out of leads and out of time, and so there is only one option left: to contract the CDA. It's the government's dirty little secret, an unorthodox organization of highly trained agents who are sent in when everyone else has failed. Four agents are sent to NYC: Mel Carmicheal, a knife-loving force of nature who could seduce a priest if she wanted to; Diego Delarosa, a perceptive and rational agent who can get anyone to trust him; Ian Sharpe, a quiet, insightful hitman who doesn't know exactly why he's there; and Asha Mannan, an organized, analytical agent who never gives up on a case. Changes in the very structure of the CDA during the middle of their assignment, however, have the agents scrambling with a new deadline and the looming threat of a suicide mission. Worst of all, their pasts and their secrets are beginning to catch up with them-- and they're all more connected than they know. Can they save the missing teenagers before their worlds come crashing down? *Told in chapters alternating between the past and the present* *This is the new & improved version of Identity- the old one has since been unpublished. However, this is not the final version and will most likely contain minor grammar mistakes/plot holes/etc.* Copyright © 2017 by Sloane Mackenzie All rights reserved.
