Allison Perez is your casual good girl, straight A student. She hasn't ever gotten any referrals, tardies, lunch detentions or anything that her parents wouldn't be proud of her for. But all that changed when she starting going out with her girlfriend Emily Donaldson. Emily is a rebellious teenager who gets in trouble and drinks and does drugs.
After a few years of being together Allison is starting to get tired of her girlfriend. Allison has graduated high school and is now in collage to become a teacher and a novelist, until Allison's plans completely changed when she was accidentally artificially inseminated. Now she has 9 months to come up with a plan, whether she wants to let her rebellious girlfriend or break it off with Emily and move on with her teacher and novelist career and whether or not she is going to keep the child or get and abortion. What will she decide...
