Eliana looks at me like I just stepped in dragon droppings, and tracked through the house. "It's a prison cell."
Rolling my eyes, I scoff "Obviously. Come on, I was being sarcastic."
The silence engulfs us once more, everyone taking turns looking at each other, before we all eventually settle our gaze on the walls. "So... Cora." Arius voices, drawing all eyes to him. "What's our exit strategy?"
"Our what?"
"Oh my god, we're all going to die!" I exclaim, leaning back, and acccepting our demise.
"Don't be so lucky. King Matt hasn't decided what to do with you pest." A guard walking by on patrols states before moving on. I wouldn't stand for it so I scoot up to the bars and shout after his retreating form.
"Oh yeah? Well if I die tonight, I want to donate all my organs EXCEPT my middle finger. Be sure to deliver that to the King." He doesn't say anything, but I know that was just another treason to add onto the list.
Suddenly Cora shouts 'Eureka' pulling everyone's attention towards her. "Guys I may know how to get us out of here. But it may be, uh slightly... dangerous."
"Dangerous?"
"It's pretty dangerous, not in a harmful way like dragons, just risky. If we play it right though, we should all get out of here with our limbs intact. 78 percent sure." She notes before motioning each of us to scoot in.
