The Soviet Union won the Cold War due to a weak, passive policy of the United States of America. The US collapsed in the year 1991. Twenty-six years later, the Soviet Union is facing a three-sided Cold War with the newly-formed People's Republic of China and the remnants of NATO. To win, the Soviet army creates a top secret weapon that is supposed to prevent the destruction of the Union. However, what happens when a band of teenagers discover it? Instead of notifying the world of the impending grid failure, he builds a vast arsenal nuclear plants to power his land against the rules, and when the grid falls, his lights and machines keep running. When finally his arrest occurs, he finds himself in a unique situation, offered a position in the TROIKA - but if he declines, then a life of darkness behind bars awaits him. The goal of the TROIKA is simple: Be quick, be correct, be ready.
