Masking her social awkwardness, she tried to put on a normal facade until it slowly slips away, and she truly gets rejected by all her classmates except one, CJ. And if that isn't bad enough, she soon gets assigned a "responsibility" in class-CJ's best friend, a responsibility not even a once in a lifetime opportunity can change.

I'm Ruth. I've never said that to anyone before. Well, I've never said anything to anyone before. You guessed it I'm mute Nobody's ever been able to read me Nobody... until him...

I'm the quiet girl who always sits at the back of the class. I'm the girl who has no friends, who always eats lunch by herself. I'm the girl who constantly gets picked on, the loser, the freak. But, I'm also the girl who has a best friend. The girl who's life revolves around social media because that's where I'm loved and accepted.

He has a few close friends, I am a loner. He's a "bad boy" and I'm "mute" We both have secrets we don't share with anyone. I don't talk so he chooses to do all the talking for me. Like they say, silence is the most powerful scream. This story might be a bit darker than my other ones. I've wanted to write a story like this for a while. Please enjoy Silent Scream.
