Gerard is and has always been independent, some might call him an arse-hole but Gerard just wants to stay out of the way. Because of his past therapy sessions, Gerard finds the subject of friendship difficult to comprehend, the exact reason, he limits himself with communication. If you've ever heard the phrase "I'd love to kill him /her", Gerard has a way of taking that out of context either through his own thoughts or being influenced, thus putting friendships, or even any new found relationships, in danger.
Because who doesn't love a revenge era Frerard?
It's 2004 and My Chem are on tour. It should be a happy time, and yet Gerard finds himself spiralling, caught in a toxic relationship and even more toxic addictions. The only people that can seem to get through to him at all are his bandmates, but that's becoming complicated too, as he's accidentally fallen in love with one of them.
Disclaimer/warning - this story deals with alcohol and substance abuse. I don't want to romanticise it at all - if anything, this is about how love doesn't automatically fix these issues.
