Dovewing looked at her kits playing just outside the nursery.

Two moons after that night she had given birth to four healthy kits. Three toms and a she-kit. Lionkit and Leopardkit were two toms. Lionkit had the fur of Birchfall, but the general body shape of Tigerheart. Leopardkit was gray with darker stripes and amber eyes. Then the other tom was brown and had a white chest and a striped tail. His name was Robinkit. The she-kit was a pale calico named Sparrowkit.

Robinkit sat back to the side while Lionkit and Leopardkit wrestled each other. Sparrowkit sat nearby, telling them rather easy tips.

She looked up to the sky, praying to starclan nothing bad would happen to them. 'I swear on my life I will raise these kits to be the best warriors they can be, so amazing that you'll be glad they were born.'All Rights Reserved

Leopardwillow has always wanted an apprentice from the moment she was an apprentice herself to the moment she became a warrior... There was one exception however she would beg Starclan not to mentor the stubbornest, violentist, evil-seeming kit ever- Smokekit. Little does she know that just so happens to be Starclan's will not only will she need to mentor Smokekit, tensions rise higher and higher within Lakeclan and a war will be hard to avoid, and Foxbristle; Leopardwillow's sister is accused of Bearstar's murder. On top of that drama Leopardwillow still has to save her clan from whatever danger lies ahead-little does she know her stubborn apprentice might be the cause for all this chaos... Excerpt: Flamestar's one amber eye shone in the moonlight; the moon soon disappeared from within the clouds. "I did not fail Junipercloud." Leopardwillow spat, "you should know not to kill warriors during things so ridiculous as border skirmishes Starclan doesn't want us to kill each other." By now her fur stood on end but Flamestar looked terrifyingly calm. "I suppose, but the way I see it there should only be one clan not two. How ridiculous our ancestors decided it." Flamestar said with a curious tone. "I shall make this short before we depart young warrior - I'd watch my back from now on if I were you." the orange she-cat said thoughtfully. Timberheart leapt off the boulder "Is that a threat?!" he growled. Flamestar thought her words over "Maybe. Lakeclan to me!" she yowled before either of them had time to respond. Stirring winds and roaring echoes- it calls forward to those those who follow the light of sun and intimidates those who hesitate to act right. "It's all burning," murmured the light grey she-cat with desperation "it's all burning!" she continued on repeating. "It is burning, Cloudfall." Meowed a white tom beside her, his tail resting on her back. "May StarClan light the paths of those cats, may they be safe in their paws." He whispered with awe and sympathy. The first kit to come out was a tom with cream and white fur, laughing. The last kit came out was a white she-cat with long tufts of fur in between her ears. Her underbelly fur and tail was just as long, and the fur was long on her long tail. "Dream, Oat, Cloud get back inside the no pelt den right this instant!" The tom yowled. "Oh Frances doesn't be so harsh on them." the she-cat purred. "But Lucy, you know as well as I do that they will want to follow me to my no-pelt's den, then your no-pelt will be so worried that it will forget about you and will look for the kits," Frances said. "You don't have to worry so much." Dream said, "We would not be able to hop on top of the fence!" "Speak for yourself!" her sister Cloud said as she hopped onto the fence. She gasped as she steadied herself and looked out on the world beyond the fence. It was right then and there that she knew that was where she belonged. It would mean leaving her family and life behind, but that was where she was going to go the day that the other no pelts came to look at her siblings. She would call that day as the day of Escape.
