The Elementals

1000 years ago, elementals ruled the land. One day, a monstrous tidal wave wiped out all fire elementals, who were the rulers of earth. War broke out to find the next supreme element, which only allowed regular humans to rise from the ashes and claim that enough was enough. Now, elementals are a feared race, declared dangerous by the government and killed as soon as declared. The nation's leaders do not want their bloodline to continue, but it is not that easy to wipe out an entire race. There are now reports of disappearances - children and teenagers being stolen at night - but these are not any children. Mandatory blood tests have shown their possession of elemental heritage, and therefore the potential to have powers. Someone is saving them. Someone saved me. My name is Haylee, and this is my story.
