"Shut up! You don't know they're dead, I'll go after them myself!" Josephine shouted. Blood was all over her, and she felt the searing pain on her calf and thigh, where thousands of fire ants viciously gnawed at her skin as she maintained cover from the guards. The boy responded with a sigh. "By all means, you piss me off and get in the way anyway." Dark hair and green eyes. The symbols that meant the end of an easy going apocalypse for Josephine. Her parents were dead, and she was an only child. Nothing to lose, she cruised through the end of the world, or at least her home of Puerto Rico. In her sights, farmland with many fruit trees, and dogs. Many dogs. However, there came Rippers. Two brothers, sharing deep, shiny green eyes, and dark locks, earned titles as rippers, who tore through the United States, in search of another person. Their father. With complicated pasts, they realize their minds are shattered. Not just in every aspect, but specifically, their memories. They need to find their father, who may hold the pieces of their memories, and disappeared on a mission in Puerto Rico. "Josephine." The brother she met first said, "Hey, calm down. I think I know which town they were headed. We can get them back. Killing american soldiers is kind of our specialty." He slid strands of her hair behind her ear. "Damon and Mitchell are coming back." "Right, those two." The boy added, bored. "One thing, how?" "I can do it myself. Josephine, you're injured, I want Jason to take care of you." "You're delusional--" "Ill meet you by nightfall, tops." And he took off down the canopy trail. Jason glared back at Josephine. "I am not, waiting for you." He hissed. Getting sucked into their lives, Josephine's fantasy paused with a jolt. No longer a free spirit, she is a shadow of the Rippers.

Guns, revenge and buildings to bomb, what could go wrong? ✮ He came in, gun held out in front of him in one hand while the other was resting on his hip where a sharp dagger gleamed in the light. "Come on out little girl, why not make this easier for both of us. The agency you ran away from just want to have a little talk, that's all." She scoffed internally. Yeah right. Then the footsteps ceased. She peeked to the right, then to the left. Neither direction showed any sign of the intruder. She looked up in front of her and gasped, the glint of steel and smell of death as overwhelming as it was adrenaline inducing, exciting. "Boo." ✮ Murder, accidents, assassinations. Call it what you will, it's all the same, all has the same life breaking, mind shattering consequences - be it for the victim or the bystander. It had shaped Alex in a way no one should be. Broken down and rebuilt into the perfect soldier, one who had the power to change the world, to fight battles that would either make or break the carefully constructed vision we all live in. The only small, minute, really unimportant detail - it's pretty hard to get into a government classified site when you're 15 years old and have a rag-tag team of double-crossing back-stabbers behind you. Not to mention the threat of a world war and ghost hanging above your head. Armed with sarcasm, wit, and a hell of a lot of aggressive intentions, it won't be too long till a sticky situation is all that's ahead of you. Sometimes, running head-first into a situation isn't the best idea. Instead, you gotta play a game. A deadly game where either you have all the pieces on the board, or you have nothing. [previously known as Espionage: double-cross] Thanks for reading :)
