"Can you imagine a perfect world?" He asks me, looking afar.
I stare down at the mess he created. Vibrant fires. Destroyed buildings. Panicked people.
It disgusted me to think that any person was even capable of seeing this atrocity, but to think the person responsible for all this was sitting next to me; a soft smile planted on his face.
"Not a world with you in it." I answer, the words stinging to my lips.
A small chuckle fell from him.
"Don't you see, darling," He starts making his crazed eyes loom over my face. "I did this for you."
