Hello, intelligent scavengers....?

I see that you've stumbled across my journal, the sole source of information about my experiences from my disappearance- but first, you need to know a few things...

First of all, If you'd like to ask me anything, I'll answer them in my journal entries! Just don't ask me how you can ask me because that's just confusing! And no, ahem.. inappropriate questions please?

Secondly, don't tell anyone what you find in this book... I'm the only dragon from Pyrrhia who knows about any of the things you're about to see... so don't spill, okay?

Third and final, don't create any of those.. what do you call them again? OCs? Yeah-That. Don't make any of OCs of the breeds you'll learn of. I know for sure that if any of them found out, they would NOT be happy. Don't misuse this information, yeah?

As a quick note, some of the pictures I will use in this book will not belong to me, while others will be pictures I've drawn either on paper or on my drawing tablet. The Elder Dragons are an old race, as old as the magic that permeates this world. They are the oldest of races and in the times of fire and lava at the formation of this world, they were there, and they developed hard scales, harder than diamond, and wings to fly above the fire and death in the burning world below. Then the fire went and the lava cooled, and the Earth was still. And the Elders remained. The ice spread from the north, coating the Earth in frost, and the Elders developed fire as a way to remind themselves of their beginnings and keep warm on the merciless ice. Then, as the seasons of the earth changed and the humans came from the trees and built on the land, the Elders developed their ability to change into these new creatures and back into their true selves at will. Some split off at this point, becoming dumber and cruder, and lost the title of Elder. As the humans became smarter and were able to wield the magic of this world, the Darkest of all, the darkness without a name, came unto this world, and the Elders met their match. In the first time in millennia the Elder Dragons were afraid. They were driven to near extinction, until they retreated from this earth, and flew away, lost, leaving their cousins, the dragons, behind. But one remains. She doesn't know the secrets of her race, the secrets of the world she finds herself in. All she knows is that she is different. -------------------------------------------------- Harry Potter based fanfic introducing a new character (her POV) from book 3 and seeing where it takes the story. IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ Recent events have cancelled this old, old story. However! The synopsis for the rest of the chapters I had planned are at the end of this book, along with the planned third book I had planned to write. But threats are still looming over the Cloud Kingdom. Criminals roam the kingdom after being set free by the Dark Revolt. One of which is an old enemy of the royal family who plans to return with revenge at the forefront of their mind. And when Fog catches wind of this enemy's plan to return, it's up to him to convince his family to prepare. That is, if he's even up to the task. What happens when the only dragon who can be the hero... isn't interested in the role at all? The Wings of Fire series belongs to Tui T. Sutherland. My mother says my endless curiosity and my need to venture is a curse. Though, I know she only says that because I'm just like my father; who went out to curb his appetite for new experiences and never came home. Do I feel abandoned? No. How could I? Not when I fully understand the craving... Fae almost never leave Avalon. It's rare, and normally Fae that leave Avalon are forced into exile. Hardly ever do they leave voluntarily. My mother hates to see me leave, and a part of me is ashamed to do so, seeing as I'm basically abandoning her like my father. But she has my baby brother, Almned, who isn't even 500 yet. And I'm one penalty away from serving time in the Avalonian Guardhouse. Which is ridiculous, considering I have only broken a few rules. Avalon used to be a vast place of freedom, a sanctuary for persecuted Fae, the Homeland where everyone had a voice. Well... Avalon is not what it used to be... Maybe the Otherworld will be big enough to spread my wings. *** What happens when a Fae leaves Avalon and befriends a Human? Yes, my book is rated mature. Though, it really isn't THAT bad.
