And her mother a Duchess, now presumably dead due to a fatal sickness. Her father, never is home. Her two brothers are far off, and her sister lives in America.
No one is home but Lauren.
Every morning, the darkness of the sun shines inside her room, a haunting reminder of what the Empty Wardrobe held. The creaking of wood and sap dripping and oozing from the base, up towards the top chiseled angrapha.
At times behind all of the dresses and cloaks, you can hear the whispering trees and forest. The magic is strong.
But So is Lauren.
It's only a matter of time...
The horn is going to blow...
and the magic is going to pull her in....

She was a girl from inside the wardrobe. He was a boy from outside the wardrobe. ~~~~ "You're joking?" I scoff. "These are the Prophecy?" I pointed at the three children standing beside them.
