Rosepaw, thought to be dead, is found by a group of rogues and nursed back to health. Hazelpaw hasn't opened her eyes to the deadly truth. She lives in peace, believing no more cats would die now that Sootripple was gone. What the three apprentices don't know is that they are on thin ice, ready to crack and fall.
