Neko Tsuki is a 15 year old boy with a secret. He has been cursed to turn into the shunned cat from the Chinese Zodiac anytime someone of the opposite gender hugs him. His mother, Nariko, used to work, as a maid, at the house of the Sohma family. They used to be cursed with having to turn into the Chinese Zodiac as well, but they thought they had broken the curse. Narikos’ best friend, Emiko, has a daughter to who is one year younger than Neko, Akako. Nothing strange had ever happened to her until she turned 14. That is when she too, began to change into the tiger from the Chinese Zodiac. Why wasn’t Akako born with the curse? Why is Neko cursed with the cat? Why is the curse even back at all, when the Sohmas’ thought that it had been broken?
