This is The Hunger Games Were PrimRose Everdeen is put in the hunger games with Rory Hawthorn, Gale Hawthorn's 12 year old brother. I felt like I would mix up the story and instead of Peeta or Katniss, I changed both characters to completely change the story. I felt like Rory is a character that no one really knows about even after reading the books. I created Rory into a character that I think should be in the hunger games.

The story is set during the time period of "The Hunger Games" (book one of the trilogy). It is written from the perspective of Gale Hawthorne, and does not concern any events in books two and three. This is my first fan fiction, my first "real" attempt at long form prose writing, and my first Wattpad story. I appreciate constructive feedback, but please, no hate. While the characters and some plot points are based off of Suzanne Collins's Hunger Games Trilogy, (which I in no way own the rights to) I have created this story using my own imagination.
