When The Sunsets

Takes place in a disease ridden 2020. After a massive plague hit the world in 2017, surviving families took refugee on the lands of local farmers, and after the government went down, some farmers turned and enslaved them. Caroline an 18 year-old "bearer" of her Owner Kipnam Black, struggles to escape, especially when she falls in-love with a butcher man during the annual gathering Black holds for all of his family to eat and dance.
