A guy once told me, life does not begin with a "Once Upon A Time", and it sure as hell does not end with a "Happily ever after." I did not believe him at first, I wanted him to be my happily ever after. But I quickly found out that he was right, life does NOT begin with a "Once Upon A Time" and it sure as hell does not end with a " Happily Ever After." And I am about sick and tired of having hope that things will work out for me. Now I am just p*ssed.

I stood peering over the cold lifeless body that lay before my eyes. I had always thought of death the enemy, but right now, I blessed it upon the person who is now at peace. I slowly began to find comfort and safety in him, and I did the same to him. We were two broken people becoming whole. Someone once said when you pass, if you can count your true friends on one hand you are beyond lucky, and I even though I did not like the person that lay before me, I know that he once had true friends, including me. I'm a 17 year old girl who has suffered more than any other, beginning to believe that 'Hope' was just another word the people throw around. Until I fell in love with a badboy. In this world, there are some people who get their happily ever afters and others who don't. Those who get their magical fairytale romance, cherish it for as long as it lasts while the others never get to enjoy the wonders of a fairytale. Which makes you think about how unrealistic love like that is. I used to think the same thing until I met him.
