I'm Ember. My best friend's name is Everett. We live in a little town called Blue where nothing exciting ever happens. So we make our own fun. Playing pranks is our specialty, but we also like daydreaming in the forest or climbing trees. We practically live on the forest floor and in our favorite tree we named Oscar. Everett and I know the forest better than anyone; we know it like the back of our hand. But one night I stumbled upon something amazing, a discovery so huge that it could change our world forever.
There's not only one world. . .
There is another. Hidden away inside the forest we thought we knew so well.
But this world isn't ordinary. It's dangerous. It sucks you in, tricks you, traps you, manipulates you. I has a mind of its own.
