"Mate."
Eris froze and shock took over the delicate features of his face. Time seemed to stopped the moment he heard that word. He didn't dare turn around. A sharp, alluring scent twisted around his body and he knew without a doubt that the one who had spoken was now behind him. Silence had dropped over the pack as all eyes were on Eris. Slowly turning around Eris was met with the chiseled chest of another male. The alpha of Scorched Embers pack.
"Mate." The word was spoken fiercely now and an edge of possessiveness clung to it. The voice was soft but powerful at the same time.
Looking up Eris' eyes met the alpha's ice blue ones. In the sunlight the light was able to pick out the gold streaks admist the copper in Eris' eyes and the alpha took a breath at the sight. Then another voice rang out. It lacked the power of an alpha's but it made up for it with it's own quiet strength.

Lux Aeris, a hunter from the Reaping Stones pack, is torn between two. Both claim to be the mate that the gods chose for him. However, only one is his true love.
