A surprising and brutal murder occurs in Lakewood,  and a group of teenagers become the prime targets of the bloodthirsty serial killer, as the dark secrets from Lakewood's past begin to unfold, and trigger memories of a similar murder that took place 20 years earlier by the notorious Brandon James. Lydia Martin, a teenage girl who is somehow associated to the town's past, is the killer's main obsession, with her friends and family both in danger, she sets out to discover the town's mysteries and unmask the killer. This becomes more and more difficult for her, however, when even her closest friends become
suspects and victims. She learns one thing. No one can be trusted. Not anymore.

this is sort of a remake of the series scream mtv, but it has different killers and different endings, with lydia martin as the main character.
