Frank Iero is a 5 foot 6 inch pile of twink. And what do twinky pretentious little music lovers do? They work at the local record store. He has a talent for alphabetizing albums and getting yelled at by the hipster queen herself Lindsey Ballato. Her father owns the record store, the coffee shop next door, and anything else he'll buy out from under you. Being manager is hard work so it's no wonder Lindsey barely shows up for work, but she starts coming around a lot more often when she's got a new music junky boyfriend to impress. 

Gerard Way is a fresh college drop out. Back home in the same tired town he thought he'd escaped. With nothing better to do, he might as well get himself a girlfriend but will her kid employee get in the way? He's quiet. Awkward. And wreaks of cheap cigarettes and angst. So why is he so infatuated with little Frankie? Is it because he can't get away from him between seeing him at the shop with Lindsey or at home with his emo ass brother Mikey? They are best friends after all.

Before it happens, Frank's life has a turn he didn't expect at all. He finally finds the love he's been looking for - a long time - and he can't believe he actually found it. A lot of crap happens after he meets his new love, but they find a way to get through it and successfully they do. Forgetting his past Frank tries to move on, it does take a lot of energy out of him considering he has IED and had a terrible childhood.
