"His stomach growled loudly and you both locked eyes. Seven quickly glanced away and your heart ached as he pretended you weren't there. You decided it was time to make some food. Silently staring at him wishing you could break through and fix his worry and stress hadn't gotten you anywhere so far. Besides you were a bit hungry too. He didn't have to talk yet if he wasn't ready, you could wait. He was going to eat though. You glanced over at him again watching his gold eyes race across the screen of his laptop. You saw him scowling, probably mentally cursing his stomach for drawing attention to him, as if you had been paying attention to anything else since he came bursting into the apartment like your Red Knight. You also noticed he had turned his headphones up much louder, almost like he was putting up a sound barrier between you too. You sighed and silently made your way into the kitchen."
