Claira Violet Reece liked to be a recluse. She enjoyed the time she got to herself to be able to work on her music but the last three months have flipped her life upside down. Now responsible for her two younger siblings, Claira struggles to juggle the responsibilities of a makeshift mother as long as trying to maintain her youth. In a twisted turn of events all the adults in their little town of Schroeder become violently ill. What started out as what seemed to be the common cold quickly progressed into something much more lethal, quickly spreading into the surrounding communities. It is now up to Claira and her band of misfit friends to protect the youth from the adults, find the cause for the disease, along with a cure before the rest of the world perishes.
